This lovely little bar, located just along the road from the Globales Palmanova Palace, is run by Janet and her daughter Bobi.

It is a little bit off the beaten track, with no sea view unfortunately, but definitely well worth a visit.

At La Cartuja you will find a great friendly atmosphere not only amongst the locals who are both Spanish and British, but also with tourists too. Nobody is a stranger in this delightful establishment! Everyone has time to speak, no matter who you are or where you’re from.

Janet and Bobi have been in La Cartuja for a little while now and have been building their great reputation amongst the locals.

Serving a great Full English Breakfast as well as other delicious homemade favourites such as Cottage Pie and Bangers and Mash. All very reasonably priced!

Closing at 7pm on Sundays and closed all day on Mondays so they can have a well deseved rest.
